These Terms of Service, including the coaching service agreement, liability and scope provisions, are being finalized with legal counsel before launch. The final terms will be published here in full.
Scope of coaching
EZ Coaching provides professional life, family, teen, and business coaching with Eli Zians. Coaching is not licensed mental health counseling, psychotherapy, clinical psychology, or social work, and does not involve the diagnosis, treatment, or amelioration of mental health disorders. If you require medical or clinical mental health treatment, please consult a licensed healthcare professional. Coaching is not a substitute for licensed mental health care.
Mandated reporting (Florida)
Eli Zians lives and works in Boca Raton, Florida. Florida law (FL Stat §39.201) requires every person in the state to report suspected child abuse, neglect, or abandonment to the Florida Department of Children and Families. Because Eli works one-on-one with minors, he will make such a report when the law requires it. Failure to report is a third-degree felony under §39.205. Reports can be made to the Florida Abuse Hotline at 1-800-96-ABUSE (1-800-962-2873).
The final mandated-reporting language, and how it appears in the teen intake and service agreement, should be confirmed by counsel (coach-10).
